Real Customer Unboxing: 1M Views & Spanish Market via Custom Cups

2026-03-13

— From Four Reorders by a Loyal Client, Unveiling the Truth About Low MOQ and Global Logistics

In the past few months, we've experienced a remarkable "breakthrough" journey. And it all started with an old friend based in the United States.

A Sincere Share That Went Viral

Last year, this customer placed her first order on our Alibaba International Station, purchasing a batch of custom PET U-shaped cups and paper cups. When she came back for a second order, she excitedly filmed an unboxing video and posted it on Instagram (@kofi_miam). To her surprise—and ours—this authentic share instantly went viral!

As of now, the video has garnered:

  • 1.028 million views

In the video, she also screenshotted our Alibaba International Station store. This flood of traffic not only brought us massive free exposure but also a wave of inquiries—most of these new friends came from Spanish-speaking countries (Latin America and Spain). Thanks to her enthusiastic recommendation in Spanish, we successfully opened the door to the vast Spanish-speaking market.

More Than Traffic: Lasting Trust

What moves us even more is the solid trust behind the traffic. To date, this customer has placed four orders with us—consistently reordering our custom PET U-shaped cups and paper cups. She has long since evolved from a first-time client into a long-term partner who genuinely values us. To thank her for her support, we include new samples with her reorder shipments, sharing the joy of innovation.

Why does she keep recommending us? In her video and multiple conversations, she repeatedly mentioned three reassuring reasons:

  1. Low Minimum Order Quantity: Easier Startups

We understand the real needs of startups and small chains—small orders but diverse items, tight budgets and storage space. That's why we maintain a flexible policy of 1,000 pieces minimum order, so great ideas aren't held back by high MOQs. Whether you're testing a new design, running a promotion, or piloting a market, you can start easily.

  1. Customization Service: More Than Just Printing a Logo

True customization is a full collaboration from idea to finished product. The blogger specifically mentioned in the video: "They keep confirming every detail with me—they're really responsible." That's exactly what our customization service looks like every day:

  • Step 1: Submit design, evaluate feasibility – The customer sends us their logo or design draft; our technical team assesses printability (material compatibility, color accuracy, etc.) to ensure the idea can be realized.
  • Step 2: Discuss design, generate mockups – Our designers communicate with the customer about specific needs, refine details, and create realistic product mockups so the customer can visualize the final product.
  • Step 3: Confirm die-line drawing, lock details – Our factory designers produce the final die-line drawing, clearly marking all key information: dimensions, print placement, process notes, etc. The customer gives final approval.
  • Step 4: Sample proofing, physical confirmation – Before mass production, we run a sample on the machine for physical confirmation. Only after final approval do we start bulk production.

Every confirmation step is to avoid the disappointment of "product not matching expectations." Because we know that for café and restaurant owners, cups are not just containers—they are part of your brand image.

  1. Bonded Delivery: Making International Procurement as Easy as Local Sourcing

The most troublesome part of cross-border procurement is often the complexity and uncertainty of customs clearance. Our bonded delivery service is designed to solve this pain point. Goods are shipped in bonded status, streamlining the process and simplifying paperwork—customers just wait for delivery without handling complicated customs documents themselves.

Special Note for Spanish-Speaking Partners: About MOQ and Long-Distance Shipping

As inquiries from Mexico, Chile, Peru, and other places increase, we've also heard a common confusion:

Since the video says you can order 1,000 pieces, why was I told I need to combine more quantity when I asked?"

We understand this confusion might even lead to misunderstandings, but please believe—this is not "differential treatment"; it's an objective logistics reality. Today, we want to explain it to you honestly:

  • The blogger's location advantage: The customer in the video receives goods in the U.S. The U.S. domestic logistics network is extremely developed, and freight forwarders can easily handle small-volume, low-carton-count packages. So even just one small carton of 1,000 cups can ship smoothly.
  • Rules for long-distance shipping: When goods need to cross half the globe—say, to Latin America or other European countries—the situation differs. International sea or air freight forwarders typically calculate costs and accept orders based on "CBM" (cubic meters) . If your order volume is too small, it might not meet the minimum shipping unit, making it impossible to ship alone, or the freight cost would be extremely high—which isn't cost-effective for you.

Our commitment:

We won't hide this just to get orders. When our sales team communicates with you, they will honestly advise the most economical and feasible shipping solution based on your location. Sometimes this means you may need to combine with other orders to reach a "minimum CBM"—but this is precisely to ensure your goods arrive smoothly and cost-effectively.

We are deeply grateful for this customer's sincere recommendation and for the attention from every new friend who has come from afar. We are actively optimizing logistics recommendations for different regions to better serve global customers.

If you are from a Spanish-speaking region and are interested in our custom plastic cups, paper cups, or other packaging products, please feel free to contact us. We are happy to communicate openly with you and together find the best product solution and shipping path.

Because true trust begins with honest communication.
